Jax is a  3 year old owner surrender. He is about 8 pounds and tested positive for heartworms. He will be undergoing treatment before he is neutered. Prior to adoption he will be heartworm negative, vaccinated, neutered, micro chipped. We just got him so it will be a bit before we learn more about him. Heart worm treatment is expensive and it is preventable. Please keep your dogs on prevention and if you would like to help donate for his expenses, we have a PayPal button on the site.

We adopt within 350 miles of Texarkana TX or Hot Springs AR (exceptions are made for excellent applicants -we do not ship). Adoption fee $500. We do not process incomplete apps. A volunteer will contact you within  7-10 days after you submit the app. You will get an automatic unmonitored email from the site stating we have your application. If you do not get that email check your spam. If you still don’t have it, we did not get the application. We can also mail you one if you provide your mailing address.
