He is neutered, vaccinated, chipped, heartworm negative, on 6 month prevention injection, housetrained and will be professionally groomed.

Marshmallow is a very sweet, gentle, and curious dog. In the home, once settled out of the crate,  he is mild-mannered and affectionate. He is very curious and loves to sniff around. Outside, he becomes playful and energetic—he loves to run, bounce, explore, and engage with his surroundings.

He is doing great in his foster homes with the people and other dogs.

He is affectionate and loves cuddles and big hugs. He sometimes forgets his size and can knock small children down but he is never aggressive—just unaware of how big he is compared to them.

He knows sit, stay, and lay down. He walks well on a leash, is very smart, and communicates clearly. He “speaks” only when he wants to express something, not out of habit.

We adopt within 350 miles of Texarkana TX or Hot Springs AR (exceptions are made for excellent applicants -we do not ship). Adoption fee $500. We do not process incomplete apps. A volunteer will contact you within  7-10 days after you submit the app. You will get an automatic unmonitored email from the site stating we have your application. If you do not get that email check your spam. If you still don’t have it, we did not get the application. We can also mail you one if you provide your mailing address.
